What does a Social Media Partnership with UofL get you?
From the moment you enter into any of UofL's beautiful stadiums you will find plenty of activity. Events are held before, during and after games, with fan participation being the main focus. Imagine standing in the stands next to all the students, Alumni, and hometown supporters doing the trademark C-A-R-D-S chant with thousands of fans. Think how funny it is to see the dancing camera roam around the stands, then look and realize that it was your company's logo on the bottom of the screen and that your company helped make all of this possible. A social media partnership with the University of Louisville Athletics will be centered on providing an elevated level of brand awareness for your company while also promoting key measures of ROI.

Contests, promotions, photos, and other forms of engagement will be used across multiple Louisville social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram each week of the partnership. (As seen in the hyperlinks below.)
Members from your company will meet with the Louisville Social Media team to frequently evaluate and update the plan throughout the partnership. A successful partnership will provide you with a year long activation with heightened brand recognition and awareness during the fall and winter months. While you may think any company can start its own social media presence, and it can but Louisville seeks to engage over 250,000 users daily. Partnering with Louisville social media hub will allow all fans to develop a positive association with your brand.

A constant presence will be maintained on all of the primary Social Media Hubs and promoted throughout the year during our premier Louisville sporting events. Endorsements and updates will also be provided through the Flying Cardinal platform, as well branding and promotions will be housed on the Louisville sport of your choices social media pages in order to tie in sports fans attending games. Unique promotions will be developed for your company with the Louisville Sports Marketing team in order to successfully merge discussion of the partner's needs with the sport event. Contests will be held to help provide a greater interaction and influence during key times throughout the year.

Apply for an internship with the Director of Social Media
Interested in learning more about a potential career in the sport industry and/or social media? Are you looking for a fun, fast-paced, exciting experience that places you on the forefront of technology?
Multiple internships are available year round with the Director of Social Media. Interns will learn revolutionary models for monetizing social media, developing online communities, and engaging a rapidly growing fan-base. Successful candidates may be assigned management responsibilities related to specific online platforms, graphic design, videography, sales, online/offline engagement, research and development. Positions and schedules are adjustable based on qualifications and class schedules.
