The University of Louisville Football program is a proud member of the BIG EAST Conference. Our home facility, Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium provides the Louisville Cardinals with an exciting atmosphere for college football every autumn game day. The innovative facility boasts a unique feature not found in any other university-owned-and-operated stadium in the nation; all of the seats have chairbacks.
Construction is underway on the Expansion to Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. The expansion, which will be ready for the 2010 season will feature 33 new luxury suites and 1,750 upscale loge seats. This loge area features the thrill of outside seating along with state-of-the-art indoor amentities. The 20,000 square-foot loge lounge is all glass which allows you to view the field from the indoor lounge. The expansion will also feature a terrace which will connect the east and west sides of the stadium as well as an expanded upper deck which will bring our total seating capacity to 55,000.
