UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE CARDINAL ATHLETICS
WHEELCHAIR/MOBILITY DISABILITY TICKET POLICY
The University of Louisville welcomes fans needing Wheelchair/Mobility Disability-accessible seating to enjoy Cardinal Athletics at the KFC Yum! Center. The University believes our facilities meet the demands of our fans and their companions for accessible seating in a variety of convenient locations and at different price levels. To accommodate the individual needs of guests requiring seating for mobility disabilities as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act and other laws, the University has formalized the following ticket policy:
1. Wheelchair/Mobility Disability tickets will be made available only for fans who wish to purchase or exchange tickets for an individual that (a) must use a wheelchair or another mobility device, including walkers, crutches, canes, braces, or other similar devices designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities, or (b) has a mobility disability that requires the physical features that only accessible seating provides.
2. Fans who wish to obtain Wheelchair/Mobility Disability tickets must affirm in writing their need for such tickets in a manner and form required by the University.
3. Wheelchair/Mobility Disability seating can be found throughout the University’s home athletic venues. Refer to attached seating diagram of the KFC Yum! Center.
4. The University will offer Wheelchair/Mobility Disability season tickets in each section of Wheelchair/Mobility Disability seating to fans who affirm their need for such seating. These season tickets will be offered for sale using the same priority system as that used for comparable non-accessible season tickets, and will require payment of the same price and Cardinal Athletic Fund donation level as that required for comparable non-accessible seats.
5. The University will also offer Wheelchair/Mobility Disability single-game tickets and game-day exchanges to fans who affirm their need for such seating. These single-game tickets and exchanges will be offered, subject to availability, on a first-come, first-serve basis in the same manner, and for the same price, as that used for comparable non-accessible seats. Exchanges of non-accessible seating tickets for Wheelchair/Mobility Disability seating tickets can be made by presenting such tickets to the Ticket Office on game day. The purchase of a Wheelchair/Mobility Disability season ticket does not entitle its holder to any special priority for these single-game ticket sales or exchanges.
6. To ensure Wheelchair/Mobility Disability seating is available to all fans that require such seating, the University will not release Wheelchair/Mobility Seating to fans that cannot affirm their need for such seating. Additionally, if Wheelchair/Mobility Disability season ticket holders are not accompanied to an event by an individual who actually requires Wheelchair/Mobility Disability seating for a particular event, those season ticket holders must exchange their Wheelchair/Mobility Disability event tickets for available non-accessible seats.
7. The University reserves the right to inquire about, and investigate, potential fraud or misuse in the purchase, exchange, or use of Wheelchair/Mobility Disability tickets as permitted by law. Should the University conclude, in its sole discretion, that such fraud or misuse has occurred, the offending party may be subject to ejection, loss of season ticket privileges, and/or other appropriate penalties. Fans requiring Wheelchair/Mobility Disability seating are encouraged to report suspected fraud or misuse to the Ticket Office.
