Why should I give to the Cardinal Athletic Fund?

IMPACT! The Cardinal Athletic Fund is the best way to impact more than 750 student-athletes, representing 23 sports. Donations to the CAF go directly to support our student-athletes by providing them the necessary resources to be successful in their academic and athletic pursuits.

How do I join the Cardinal Athletic Fund?

While certain gift amounts activate commensurate benefits, gifts of all sizes are welcome for membership to the Cardinal Athletic Fund.

Online: Donate online using "My Cardinal Account" - You will need to create an account before you can donate.

In-Person: Gifts of Cash, Credit Card, or Check are accepted in person by visiting:

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes. Gifts to the Cardinal Athletic Fund are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. However, there are limitations to the deductibility of contributions required as a result of obtaining or retaining season tickets. Please consult your tax advisor to determine your specific tax deductibility.

Are donations required for all seats?

No. While there are many sections in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium and the KFC Yum! Center that require a donation, there are multiple sections that are non-donation. The seating charts below illustrate both venues relative to their donation requirements

How do I obtain new or additional basketball season tickets?

New Season Tickets: If you are not a current season ticket holder, you must complete the Waitlist Application.

Additional Seats: You must complete the Additional Seats Form.

All forms must be completed by July 1 to be considered eligible. In August, all requests are then arranged by type and by Priority Points Requests are then handled commensurate with available inventory.

How do I relocate my current seats or add additional seats?

You must complete the Relocation Form by July 1 to be eligible for our relocation process. In August, all requests are then arranged by Priority Points and contacted relative to their request and available inventory.

What is the priority point system?

The CAF Priority Point system was established as a fair and equitable way to allocate tickets and parking. Priority Points are used in the allocation and relocation of season tickets, away tickets, Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Tournament tickets, NCAA tickets, Bowl Game tickets and parking.

Do I have to pay a donation every year to retain my seats?

Yes. If your season ticket(s) require a compulsory gift, the donation must be paid annually to retain the season tickets.

How can I get a parking pass for football or basketball games?

Football: if you are interested in obtaining parking, please contact the Athletic Ticket Office at 502-852-5151
CAF membership at the $100 level or higher required.

Basketball: if you are interested in obtaining parking, please complete the Parking Request form.

How do I pay my invoice online?

Log in to My Cardinal Account; Review any open or unpaid invoices; Follow the steps for online payment.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Payment plans are available, provided that the full amount due is completed by the impending deadline. Payment plans can be facilitated utilizing My Cardinal Account.

When do the parking lots open for football games?

Approximately 4 hours prior to kickoff; we do not allow overnight parking.

When do gates open for ticketed events?

Football and M. Basketball: 90 minutes prior to the start of the game.

All other sports: 60 minutes prior to the start of the game.
