Project Overview

The $2.75 million expansion features a team clubhouse with a locker room, video room, and a players' lounge. With the addition of 200 chairback seats, the seating capacity of Dan Ulmer Stadium is now 1,000. The project also added a 2,380 square foot fan terrace, as well as a new press box that doubles the size of the previous space.

Softball Team/Facility Overview

Originally constructed as part of Cardinal Park, the $3.7 million Dan Ulmer Stadium is home to one of the most successful softball programs in the nation. Since the program's inception in 2000, Louisville has qualified for eleven straight NCAA Regionals. The 2014 season saw the Cardinals post a 36-22 record en route to an American Athletic Conference Tournament Championship and a trip to the NCAA Regionals.
